The group known as The Intervention, consisting of rappers Dubb P, Wontel, and singer K-Sam, are back with their new mixtape Everything Else Fades. The group hailing from Boise, Idaho first stepped on the scene back into 2010 with their first cd The S.W.A.G.G. (Saved with a Godly Gift) Project, with their first single “Hardcore”, and later followed up with Session 1. With this new, free mixtape, we are not only seeing the growth of the group lyrically but spiritually.Everything Else Fades also provides the opportunity to meet the group as individuals with each member having their own solo track. Collectively the group takes on topics dealing with submitting yourself to the Lord’s voice in, “Answer the Call,” being a Christian but serving two gods in the song “Strong Enough”, and seeking God’s help from a relentless devil in “Dear Lord.” The Intervention makes it known that they are on a pursuit to get to know God and make Him known as well, and Everything Else Fades does just that.  Twitter Facebook Soundcloud Youtube

Does it ever seem that there are caution signs everywhere you go? Another warning telling you why you shouldn’t go here, eat this, or wear that. “Tonight at six, we will tell which foods to avoid eating that you regularly buy at your local grocery store.” “Advanced studies show that the ozone layer is becoming thinner and thinner and we may be at the brink of a global warming catastrophe.”  “Shocking new information that will prove why you should be cautious when running your daily errands.”  Sound familiar? With the influx of advisories, it’s no wonder that society has become overwhelmed with fear. Fear is an overwhelming, all encompassing, mindset that can take over your world and make you live life on its terms. It’s something people who never experience its viselike grip can’t understand, which causes them to offer often-discouraging advice. It’s something that can lead you to truly paranoid behavior and can keep you from experiencing any moment of true happiness.
